白茶

Assamese Large Leaf Tea - Light Oxidation - Unroasted

Floral, Airy, and a Slight Hint of White Pepper

The name white tea refers to a specific way of making tea. White tea can be made from a variety of tea leaves. For this batch, we used the Assamese large leaf tea for its special fragrance of white pepper.

White tea presents the amazingly natural taste of tea produced by the simplest process. It is simple but not easy. Withering is the only step that gives White tea its flavor and appearance. Because it is naturally "dried" for more than 48 hours, any variation of sunlight and temperature during that period can make a huge unexpected impact on the final product.
White tea is both tasty with its airy floral fragrance and its elegant chinese calligraphy like appearance. It is a treat to watch white tea open up in the tea vassal!
