Oriental Beauty Black Tea
蜜香紅茶
QingXing Dapan tea - Heavy Oxidation
Honey, flowery and sweet Musk
Oriental Beauty Black tea exhibits the natural honey flavor as the famous Oriental Beauty tea. It is made with QingXing Dapan (青心大冇) tea leaves. When QingXing Dapan is bitten by tiny insects called tea gassed (小綠葉蟬) , it released a special honey like fragrance.
This batch is grown in winter in Ping Dong (屏東), South east part of Taiwan. The combination of cold season and sub tropical terrain produces a smoother and less bitter tea body. You will also see more than usual amount of tea stems in this batch. It adds to the natural sweetness.
It is best enjoyed without milk. In summer, it is also great in cold brew (tea to water ratio is 1g to 100 cc water, brew in the fridge for 6-8 hours)
