Herbal Tea - Chrysanthemum Morifolium
Earthy, Gentle, and Sweet
Chrysanthemum tea is one of the most popular all season herbal tea in Taiwan. This batch is cultivated in Tongluo, Miaoli, a north western county in Taiwan.(苗栗縣銅鑼鄉). Tongluo is famous for its various types of Chrysanthemum.
For tea brewing, the Chrysanthemum Mortifolium flower is particularly nice with its mild taste and gentle effect on cooling the body and reducing inflammation according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Hence Chrysanthemum tea is not only popular in winter but also in summer when people enjoy it cold with some honey!
Brewing time varies by personal preference. In general it takes 3-4 buds for 8 oz/ 250ml water.

Brewing Instruction
- For traditional tea pot brewing, 1:4 tea to tea pot-size ratio and boiling water
- For mug brewing, add one HeChaBa tea sachet or 3.5g or 2tsp of tea in a mug and pour in 250ml or 8oz of boiling water. Brew it according to your preference!
