Oolong Black Tea

Jin Xuan Tea - Heavy Oxidation
Complex, Honey, and Light Wood Scent
Black tea made with tender Jin Xuan leaves exhibits subtler but more complex layers of flavors. It is fragrant with a hint of wood scent and after taste of honey sweetness.
Here is a short introduction of black tea making:
This batch was made from harvesting young Jin Xuan tea leaves and withering them in humid cool environment to slow the fermenting process. After about 24 hours, the tea leaves were then rolled into the long shape (instead of the ball shape like Oolong) to better release the fragrance. The iconic dark red color of black tea was formed in the next step, oxidation. Lastly black tea was dried in low temperature instead of roasted in high temperature as Oolong.
Here you have the black tea that can be your morning wake up call or your afternoon tea choice!
